Counter Attack project takes more than a dozen drivers off the road
Kamloops RCMP Media Release - PSAJanuary 4, 2020 An extra 21 impaired drivers were removed from the roadway this holiday season, thanks to proactive enforcement by the Kamloops RCMP. As 2020 came to a close, so did the Kamloops RCMP Counter Attack campaign, which included three weekends of road checks and extra enforcement to help keep people safe on the city’s roadways. The last Counter Attack event for the season wrapped up the weekend before Christmas, with four drivers receiving a 90-day driving prohibition and 30-day vehicle impound for impaired driving under the Motor Vehicle Act.
