Police were contacted on Sunday Mar. 9, 2025, in response to the break and enters, with the first occurring on Mar. 3, and the second on Mar. 7. On Jan. 26, 2025, around 2:20 p.m., multiple Kamloops RCMP Detachment frontline officers responded to the 700-block of Fortune Drive, where a person was observed with what appeared to be a firearm in an alleyway. Below are some highlights from those reports. Weapons and drug investigation 2025-1653 An intoxicated man in possession of a crossbow had a large amount of drugs on him as well. On Jan. 18, 2025, just before 10 a.m., a Kamloops RCMP Detachment frontline officer was making patrols near Tranquille Road and Strauss Street when he observed a man walking with a crossbow and arrows.
