On April 14, 2023, around 10:52 a.m., a Kamloops RCMP frontline officer was making patrols for a theft suspect on the 700-block of Fortune Drive when he came across a man who had his rear-end fully exposed and pointed upward on the walkway leading to a restaurant. Break and enter 2023-10944 Police are looking for a stolen truck after a residence was broken into this weekend. On Saturday April 1, around 9 a.m., the Kamloops RCMP Detachment received a report of a break and enter into a residence on the 700-block of Hemlock Street sometime overnight, during which the thief made off with jewelry, electronics, and a vehicle, among other items. Missing woman found

March 28, 2023 File: 2023-8641 Kamloops woman’s death confirmed as homicide. An autopsy on a woman discovered deceased last week has confirmed that missing person Jo-Anne Donovan was the victim of homicide. The body of Jo-Anne Donovan, 57, was discovered near her residence on March 22, 2023, approximately one week after she was reported missing to police. Jo-Anne was last believed to be seen on March 13. An autopsy was scheduled for March 28 to confirm her identity and to determine the cause of her death. “Sadly, the autopsy results verified what investigators initially suspected, that Jo-Anne Donovan was the victim of homicide,” said Corporal Dave Marshall of the Kamloops RCMP Serious Crime Unit. “As our investigation continues, so too does our appeal for more information from the public to…

October, 2022 File: 2022-35951 Sahali robbery: man in custody A man is facing charges related to robbery, weapon possession, and threats, following his arrest in Sahali late Friday afternoon.
