A stun baton and knives were some of the items seized after police received a weapons report on Tranquille Road this morning.
Around 9:33 a.m., January 21, Kamloops RCMP frontline officers responded to a report of a man activating a “Taser baton” on the 1800-block of Tranquille Road near Holt Street. A description of the man was provided and officers located and arrested him nearby.
A stun baton, knives, drugs, drug paraphernalia and stolen property were seized as part of the investigation.
The man was released with conditions and a court date.
