A man was taken into custody after police received a report of an unwanted person in a building downtown.
On February 9, around 10:35 p.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers responded to an address on the 200-block of Victoria Street for a report made by a cleaning crew that an unknown man was inside a building. Police attended and located a man wanted on an unendorsed warrant for theft and failing to comply with an Undertaking.
Dustin Joel Poudrier, 35, of Kamloops, was arrested and held in custody for a court appearance scheduled for February 11.
