Kamloops Detachment Media Release – Sergeant to jump in the river

While police don’t generally encourage the public to jump into the Thompson River this time of year, Kamloops RCMP members are pushing for one of their sergeants to get in there — for a good cause of course.
In support of the Special Olympics, Sergeant Brandon Buliziuk has pledged to plunge into the icy-cold river on March 7, if he reaches his $2,000 fundraising goal for the BC branch of the organization.
