A report of a robbery involving a suspected firearm lead to a large police presence in the Ord Road area earlier this morning.
Around 7:15 a.m. on February 8, Kamloops RCMP frontline officers responded to a report involving a man who had been robbed of a bike by someone with what appeared to be a firearm. The suspect’s vehicle was located nearby and several people were arrested. An airsoft pistol and a quantity of drugs were seized by police during the investigation.
The victim and suspect are known to each other and there is no risk to the general public.
Three people remain in custody as part of the investigation.
